About Pulaski Early Education Center
Pulaski Early Education Center (PEEC) is an early childhood learning experience providing a secure and healthy setting for children ages 3-5. PECC is committed to tailoring its curriculum to meet the unique developmental needs of young learners with programs designed to foster cognitive, social, and emotional growth in a way that aligns with the stages of early childhood development.

Tessa Wallace
Pulaski Early Education Centered opened up in the fall of 2023. Tessa Wallace is the founding principal of Pulaski Early Education Center. She has twenty-three years in the field of education. She has served the students and families in the City of Wilmington since 2004, as a teacher, instructional coach, teacher on special assignment, and Elementary School Leader.
Ms. Wallace received her Bachelor of Arts from Delaware State University. She then went on to receive her Master’s in Elementary Education from Hunter College and a Master’s in School leadership from Wilmington University.
Her vision is to provide students with a strong foundation in early learning in literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. She is dedicated to providing a nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment for young learners to grow and thrive. Ms. Wallace is proud to lead Pulaski with the many talented staff and students. It is her goal for students and staff to experience growth to their highest potential.
Ms. Wallace is excited to be part of the Wilmington Learning Collaborative so she can help create equitable opportunities for students and families in Wilmington. She looks forward to interacting with all stakeholders.
